We were having an issue with mosquitoes in our backyard. I order this bug zapper and plugged it in. It was about 30 minutes when I finally noticed that I wasn't getting bugs flying into my face. I've had it now about a week. It works well and has been plugged in and running non-stop.

I had a terrible mosquito problem in my carport by my entry door to my home and I was starting to feel helpless when a friend recommended getting one of these devices. I was skeptical but decided why not give it a try since I had no other choice. No sitting water anywhere unless they are breeding in stagnant water at my neighbors somehow and coming to the dark corner of my carport. It immediately started visibly working. I set it up and when I cam back outside an hour later there were nowhere near as many bugs at my door. I left for the day and when I returned tonight I could hear the zap noises killing off the bugs while I walled from the car to the door. I am incredibly satisfied already om day one of using this product and I highly recommend. Plus it put off a nice ambient light in the evening. Very effective. Let's see how long it works for. I chose this one in particular since it already had high reviews.

To be honest, this is my first bug zapper that doesn’t look like a fly swatter. However, this magnificent gadget showed up at my house 3 hours early and I am speechless. Picture this, you are outside enjoying your herbal infusion, and since it is summer time in the south, insects are everywhere. Fast forward 16 hours and one amazon order later, said gadget arrives and you wait patiently until dark. As soon as the sun hides and the moon rises, I once again stepped outside to infuse myself herbally, but this time I brought protection, I connected said fantastic apparatus and I spent the next few hours watching insect after insect meeting their maker. It was glorious! Update: I forgot to hit submit, the sun is now up and I am still here. I watched hundreds of insects perish in the Battle of the Tall Blue Light, the PTSD from this night will follow me forever, but not those f$@@&@& bugs. Although I may never recover, I DO recommend this zapper. It was worth it!

Received next day this is results of first night on the patio. So far exceeds expectations. Also the noise of zapping bugs brings back great childhood memories. 😎

It works well. I couldn't believe the pile of bugs it killed the first night. The second night, not as many so it seems like it's doing it's job. First time this early summer that I can sit out side and not be bothered by the bugs. Highly recommend.

Yeah this thing be zapping bugs like crazy all night. Definitely not getting bit as much as before. May need to get a secondary one.

Love this bug zapper! It works great and goes off constantly reducing our bug issues. It has fallen a couple of times but is durable.

This think was zapping almost immediately when I set it up. I’m in south Florida so we’re in bug heaven. You probably can’t see all the different dead bugs that stuck to it inside, but that’s a lot. Hard to identify them all but I see flies, mosquitoes, moths and little beetles. I know that for mosquitoes you need to run a machine for about a month to break their egg hatching cycle before you see a difference. We will see! The item was super easy to set up just plug in. You’ll definitely need to clean it out periodically due to some bugs getting stuck to the grill, but that’s easy. Looking forward to seeing if we can get a little relief soon as we are entering rainy season. I’ll update later.. This item was boxed up well and was received quickly. I may buy another one as well after seeing the results of the first week 😊

Ten minutes into using it, I started hearing a sparkling sound. That was the zapper roasting the flies Lool. It works so well my house is at peace now. I’m glad it works Kos I’ve been having battles with flies since I moved to Texas. Will definitely recommend it.

This product works very well in our backyard. As you can see from the photo, I hung it on an outside wall using another product from Amazon, RTZEN Plant Hangers. I used one of the hanging loops to attach the Gootop Bug Zapper and inverted and mounted the other RTZEN hanger to accommodate two bungee cords (Horusdy 31 Piece) attached underneath the Bug Zapper to keep it from slamming into the wall from the high winds we sometimes have. Also, I purchased the Amazon Basics Outdoor Smart Plug and programmed a routine that turns on the plug with the zapper 1 hour before sunset and turns it off at 1:00 am. The zapper works great and we have not had the bugs and mosquitoes we typically have from living adjacent to a greenbelt. I recommend all three of these Amazon products!
